Andrea studied baking and confectionery at Tameside College.  She established The Little Saddleworth Pie Company in a dramatic career change, after working in newspaper advertising for 25 years.

It was a return to her love of cooking that, if you’ve seen her wedding pies, you’ll be thankful for.

Andrea is a favourite with MasterChef winner Simon Wood and The Hairy Bikers. The Little Saddleworth Pie Company’s delicious wedding pie creations were first made for a church fair near Andrea’s home in Greenfield, Saddleworth.

The wedding pies were so popular with brides and grooms alike, that Andrea knew she was on to something.  She started making wedding pies, special occasion pies and everyday pies full time.

Today, you’ll find Andrea selling at farmers markets as well as at the much-loved Albion Farm Shop in Saddleworth.  In fact, she supplies many other local delis and shops in Saddleworth.

The pie oven is seldom switched off and Christmas is a particularly busy time, cooking hundreds of tasty pastry creations every week. 

Flavours for the layered pies (thatw can weigh up to four kilos) range from homemade pork, chicken and gammon, feta cheese, leek and spinach to name but a few.
